Casa Colina is a traditional Algarvean
single storey farmhouse overlooking a peaceful country valley. It is situated in a conservation zone just inside the National Park of the South West Alentejo and coast of St Vincent, in the Western Algarve, Portugal. Less than one mile from the sea, the property is an ideal 'getaway holiday' designed for you to escape the stresses and strains of everyday life. It is also a perfect base from which to explore the beautiful countryside and beaches within the national park. Set in its own grounds of five acres of fig and olive trees, the property consists of a renovated 200 year old farmhouse, with a modern annex of antique design, in keeping with the original rustic buildings. The Annex contains two self-catering private apartments, both of which are available for bookings. In a secluded location, the property is within easy walking distance of the pretty fishing village of Burgau with its fine beach, cafes, shops and bars. The surrounding countryside and nearby beaches (in particular the West Coast) are perfect for a number of leisurely pursuits. These include walking, cycling, bird watching, drawing, painting and sightseeing. There are four spectacular 18 hole championship golf courses within easy driving distance, and the area hosts one of the finest surfing beaches in the Algarve. The picturesque port of Lagos with its impressive Marina can be easily visited, approximately seven miles away.
