Lagos:
Lagos is a peaceful yet lively town with a rich historical past. It has many interesting shops and restaurants, a beautiful Marina, Avienda, beaches and facilities for sailing etc.
(approx 7 Miles from Casa Colina)

Sagres:
A lovely fishing village with the Cape of St Vincent a little further along the peninsula.
This intensely bleak cliff was the last sight of home before setting forth on fearsome voyages beyond the horizon.
Today ships of all sizes and varieties are almost always in view.
The best place to watch all this is from the observation platform circling the famous lighthouse at Cape St Vincent.

Silves:
This white town climbs the cliffs from the river to a vast castle, the whole of which is surrounded by mile after mile of orchards of Oranges, Lemons, Grapefruit, Clementines and Pomegranates.
For the more adventurous , you can continue climbing the only mountain in the Algarve
- Monchique - from which the views are truly stunning.

Lisbon - Can be reached by car in about 4 hours, from which a good train service runs daily

The western Algarve is a haven for bird watchers and ramblers.
There is also surfing and sailing in abundance.
As in all of the Algarve, Golf is available everywhere.
